Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Attention! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Engine 112: Remove the engine top cover or air filter from the cylinder head covers.
3. Release the electrical wires going to the injectors. Mark the position of the cable connector to facilitate subsequent installation.
4. Disconnect the injector connectors by pushing in the wire clamp.
5. Relieve fuel pressure, refer to Section Depressurizing the fuel system.
6. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel distribution line. If fuel leaks out, wipe it off with a rag.
7. C32AMG: Lift up the upper part of the charge air distributor.
8. Disconnect a fuel distributive highway and take out it together with injectors from the inlet pipeline.
9. Remove the retaining clip on the side of the injector and remove the injector from the distribution pipe.
Installation
1. Put on the injectors (2) new o-rings (3) And (4) and brush them lightly.
2. Insert the injectors into the fuel distribution line and secure it with the locking clip (1) so that the bracket fits into the square guide of the injector.
3. Check up sealing rings on a fuel distributive highway, if necessary, replace. Lubricate the rings with clean engine oil before installation.
4. Insert the fuel distribution line with injectors into the intake manifold or onto the lower part of the charge air distributor and secure with 9Nm.
5. Fasten the fuel line to the pipe with a torque of 38Nm.
6. Reinstall the top of the charge air distributor.
7. Connect the injector connectors and fix. Route the cable as it went before removal and secure with a connector.
8. Install the engine top cover or air filter.
9. Connect the negative cable (-) to the battery when the ignition is off. Install the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
