Attention! When the battery is disconnected, data in the vehicle's electronic memory is lost, such as data in the engine fault memory, the anti-theft code of the radio, or programs stored in the radio. Therefore, you must first find out and write down the code. Otherwise, it will only be possible to restore the operation of the radio receiver with the help of a HUNDRED MERCEDES-BENZ or the manufacturer.
Note. Since the middle of 2002, MERCEDES-BENZ has not provided radio codes since The vehicle electronics recognizes the radio after the battery is connected.
In order not to lose the stored data, you can connect an auxiliary power supply. Before disconnecting the battery, connect it to the cigarette lighter in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
