Removal



1. Remove the air filter housing from the cylinder head cover vertically upwards.

2. Disconnect the air mass meter connector.

3. Remove the ventilation hose from the meter and disconnect it from the holder.

4. Release the upper air mass meter retainer.

5. Pull the hook on the upper lock on the air intake pipe. In this way, push the mass meter back so far that the lock can no longer be locked.

6. Press the air intake pipe lock downwards with a screwdriver.

7. Remove the air mass meter from the intake manifold.

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

2. Visually inspect the mass meter sealing rings for damage; replace if necessary.

3. Before installing the air filter housing, lubricate it with a thin layer of grease, such as, "NaphtolenH" rubber elements on the cylinder head covers and the sealing ring of the gauge.
