Removal
1. Drain some of the coolant from the cooling system. Check that the ignition is off.
2. The engine management system coolant temperature sensor is screwed into the upper left side of the cylinder head near the temperature gauge sensor.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the coolant temperature sensor.
4. Unscrew the sensor from the cylinder head and remove the sealing ring.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Add coolant to the cooling system.
