Air filter — removal and installation (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W124)

Removal

1. Disconnect the spring clips securing the air cleaner cover.

2. Lift the air filter cover and remove the filter element.

Installation

1. Carefully clean the inside surface of the air filter housing.

2. Install the new air cleaner element according to the marks on the top surface of the element. Install the air cleaner cover and secure it with the spring clips.
