Removal
Throttle body
A – mounting bolts;
B – accelerator cable;
C – pressure control cable
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. Remove the intake manifold.
3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body. On automatic transmission models, disconnect the pressure control cable from the throttle linkage (see picture).
4. Label and disconnect all vacuum hoses from the throttle body
5. Label and disconnect all electrical connectors from the throttle body.
6. If present, unscrew the oil cooler pipe mounting bracket from the base of the throttle body.
7. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the throttle body from the engine.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Install and, if necessary, adjust the accelerator cable. On vehicles with an automatic transmission, install and, if necessary, adjust the pressure control cable.
