To check the oil level, park the vehicle on a level surface.
After stopping a warm engine, wait at least 5 minutes until all the oil has drained into the engine oil pan. But it is best to check the oil level on a cold engine, before the first start.
Pull out the dipstick (be careful when the engine is hot, as nearby coolant hoses can be very hot), wipe it with a clean rag or paper towel and lower it all the way back into the crankcase, wait a while and pull it out again.
The normal oil level is between the two marks.
If the oil level is at the lower mark on the dipstick or if the oil level indicator light is on, add oil to the engine.
The amount of oil between the upper and lower marks is approximately 2 liters. If the oil level in the engine has dropped to the bottom mark of the dipstick or the control lamp lights up, then you can fill in a liter can of oil offered by the distribution network. Oil is added to the engine through the filler neck located on the cylinder head cover. To do this, remove the plug from the oil filler neck and proceed as follows.
With moderate use of the car, it is enough to top up one portion (1 l) oil into the engine after the control lamp lights up or the oil level drops to the lower mark (up to 1/3) probe. When driving fast or when operating a vehicle with a trailer, it is recommended to maintain the engine oil level at the top mark of the dipstick. More oil in the engine contributes to better engine cooling.
Attention! Under no circumstances should the top mark be exceeded (MAX) on the oil dipstick. Therefore, it is better not to try to carry out ultra-precise, according to the top mark, oil filling into the car engine. Excess oil will be used up quickly, and oil burnout contributes to the formation of excessive deposits on engine parts. In addition, when the permissible level is exceeded, the crankshaft whips and foams the oil in the crankcase more intensively, which in some cases can contribute to the deterioration of lubrication.
