In the first case, you need to press the brake while the assistant watches the brake lights. In the second case, you need to drive the back of the car to the garage door or the wall of the fence and press the brake, watching the red reflection of the brake lights through the rearview mirror. If one lamp does not light, you need to replace it. If both lamps do not light, check the serviceability of the limit switch.
