As already mentioned, the car has floating caliper disc brakes on the front and rear wheels. This type of mechanism consists of a caliper bracket and a cylinder body, which is fixed to the inside of the wheel and in which one piston is installed.
When braking, the piston first presses the brake pad attached to it against the disc, then the entire floating caliper bracket begins to move towards the direction of the pressure created along the guide pins, as a result of which the outer pad is pressed against the brake disc.
