At the service station, a special device is used to bleed the hydraulic system. In the description below, the brake hydraulic system is used to bleed the clutch drive hydraulic system. To perform the work, a section of transparent hose of the appropriate diameter, 1 m long, is required.
Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir and top up if necessary.
Place the hose on the bleed nipple on the right front caliper and open the nipple.
The assistant must press the brake pedal until the hose is filled with brake fluid and no more air bubbles are released.
Place the free end of the hose on the bleed nipple of the working cylinder and open the nipple.
Alternate pressing the brake pedal, closing the bleed nipple, releasing the pedal, opening the nipple, etc. until air bubbles stop being released into the reservoir.
Close the bleed nipples on the caliper and on the working cylinder, remove the hose.
Check the operation of the clutch drive by engaging reverse gear with the engine running. Check the tightness of the connections.
Add brake fluid to the reservoir up to the "Max" mark.
