Removal and installation the slave cylinder (Mercedes-Benz S-Class W116)

Use a wrench to loosen the pipeline fastening to the working cylinder and plug the hole in the pipeline to prevent brake fluid from leaking out.

Unscrew the two bolts securing the working cylinder and remove the cylinder. Pay attention to the position of the spacer.

When installing, place the spacer with the grooves facing the clutch housing.

Install the slave cylinder with the push rod so that the push rod enters the ball recess on the clutch release fork, tighten the two mounting bolts and tighten.

Connect the line to the working cylinder and bleed the hydraulic system as described in section 9.8.
