21 — Bleed valve


1. The installation details of the clutch slave cylinder are shown in the illustration, to which all references in the text refer.

2. Disconnect the hydraulic line (19) from the slave cylinder (1), immediately plugging its open end.

3. Unscrew the mounting bolts (20) and remove the slave cylinder (1) with the plastic washer (2).

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order; before installation, lubricate the cylinder push rod with consistent grease and ensure that the fork-type clutch release lever fits correctly into the receiving socket.

5. Finally, bleed the hydraulic circuit (see Section Bleeding air from the clutch hydraulic circuit).
