18 - Auxiliary spring; 29 - Retaining ring; 011 - Retainer


1. The installation details of the master cylinder are shown in the illustration to which all references in the text refer.

2. Remove the cover on the left under the instrument panel.

3. Disconnect the hose (14) and tube (17) from the master cylinder (11) - try to prevent hydraulic fluid from getting on the painted body surfaces.

4. Disconnect the master cylinder (11) from the pedal assembly bracket (10).

5. Unhook the return spring (15).

6. Remove the retaining ring (12).

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

8. Finally, check the hydraulic system components for signs of developing leaks, remove air locks (see Section Bleeding air from the clutch hydraulic circuit).
