Bleeding air from the hydraulic circuit of the differential lock drive
1 — Front axle slave cylinder
2 — Rear axle slave cylinder
3 — Hydraulic fluid reservoir
1. Following the manufacturer's instructions, connect the brake fluid filling device to the differential lock hydraulic fluid reservoir (3).
Note: The working pressure should be 2 atm.
2. Release the bleed valve on the slave cylinder first of the front (1), then of the rear (2) axle - the procedure can be considered complete when approximately 80 cm³ of fluid free of air bubbles has been released through the valve.
3. Make sure that the bleed valves are tightened to the required torque.
4. Disconnect the equipment and check the liquid level in the tank (3), if necessary, make the appropriate adjustments (see Chapter Routine care and maintenance).
