Caution! Oil change should be performed after the transmission has warmed up to normal operating temperature.
Location of the drain (1) and filler (2) plugs of the transfer case
1. Raise the car on the lift strictly horizontally.
2. Carefully wipe the surface of the transfer case housing around the drain (1) and filler (2) plugs.
3. Unscrew both plugs and wait until the oil has completely drained from the crankcase.
4. Wipe, screw the drain plug back into place and tighten it to the required torque.
5. Fill the transfer case with the required amount of oil of the appropriate grade (see Specifications).
6. Before screwing in, wipe the filler plug thoroughly. Tighten the plug with the required force.
