* List of tested and approved engine oil grades in accordance with the "Mercedes-Benz Operating Fluids Guidelines" (sheets 229.1 and 229.3) available at any branded service station. On the labels pasted to the container of some types of oils there is a note: "Approved according to lists 229.1 or 229.3".
