Transfer case actuator motor installation details
1 - Connector; 2, 3 - Bolts; 4 - Grounding busbar; 5 - Transfer case; M46/2 - Executive motor


1. Disconnect the electrical wiring (1) from the actuator motor assembly (M46/2).

2. Unscrew the bolts (2 and 3) and remove the servomotor (M46/2) from the transfer case (5).

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - make sure that the grounding busbar (4) is not stretched and that the fastening bolts (2 and 3) are tightened with the required force.

4. Finally, initialize the servomotor using the STAR DIGNOSIS reader - contact the specialists of the Mercedes-Benz service station for assistance.
