Exhaust gas system (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)

0
The exhaust system is designed to reduce the content of harmful substances and noise when exhaust gases are released into the atmosphere.

The exhaust system consists of a downpipe with a built-in catalytic converter and an exhaust pipe with a resonator and muffler.

On V6 and V8 engines, the intake pipes from both cylinder heads are connected to the exhaust pipe. Repair of the exhaust system is carried out by replacing its individual parts and units.

The nuts securing the parts and the seals should be replaced with new ones. Be sure to check the technical condition of the exhaust system suspension parts.
