Attention! Before diagnosing a suspension or steering problem, check the tire pressure, the absence of wheel braking, and that the tires are the same on the vehicle.
Car pulls to one side
- Tire defective.
- Severe wear of suspension or steering components.
- Front wheel alignment incorrectly adjusted.
- Accident damage to the steering and suspension element.
Wheel wobble and vibration
- Front wheels not balanced. In this case, the vibration is felt on the steering wheel.
- The rear wheels are not balanced. In this case, the vibration is transmitted to the entire car.
- Damaged or deformed wheels.
- Tire damage or deformation.
- Worn ball joints, bushings or steering or front suspension components.
- Loose wheel bolts.
Loud screeching sound when braking and cornering
- Shock absorbers faulty.
- Suspension spring damaged or sagged or suspension elements are faulty.
- Damage to the stabilizer bar or its fasteners.
The car pulls in different directions
- Front wheel alignment incorrectly adjusted.
- Worn ball joints, bushings or steering or front suspension components.
- Wheels not balanced.
- Tire damage.
- Loose wheel bolts.
- Shock absorbers faulty.
Stiff steering
- Steering ball joint or suspension ball joint stuck.
- Damaged or improperly adjusted auxiliary drive belt tension on models with power steering.

- Low fluid level in power steering.
- Clogged hoses in power steering hydraulic system.
- Power steering pump defective.
- Steering gear defective.
Severe tire wear
Heavy wear on the edges of the tire tread
- Low tire pressure. The tires wear equally on both sides.
- Camber or caster angle incorrectly adjusted. In this case, the tire wears out only on one side.
- Bushing ball joints and steering or suspension components are worn out.
- Accident damage to the steering and suspension element.
Flaking of the lateral surface of the tread
- Wheel alignment incorrectly adjusted.
Wear in the center of the tread
- Tire pressure is higher than normal.
Uneven tire wear
- Wheels not balanced.
- Worn shock absorbers.
- Tire damaged.
