Front suspension
Independent front suspension with coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers. Shock absorbers through the steering knuckle are attached to the lower arms of the front suspension, which, in turn, is mounted on the inside through rubber bushings, and on the outside with a ball joint. The steering knuckles, on which the hubs, brake discs and calipers are mounted, are bolted to the shock absorbers and connected through ball joints to the lower front suspension arms. On most models, a front anti-roll bar is installed, which is connected to the lower control arms through studs.
The independent type rear suspension also has coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers.
The hub fastener attaches to the lower arm and connects to the rear lower frame via three arms. Coil springs are installed between the body panels and the lower rear suspension arm. On most models, a rear anti-roll bar is installed, which is connected to the lower control arms with connecting earrings. Station wagon models are equipped with a self-adjusting rear suspension.
The connection of the steering column with the steering gear is carried out by an intermediate shaft and a rubber clutch.
The steering gear is fixed on the bulkhead of the engine compartment and is connected directly to one of the steering knuckles through the tie rod. The steering rod is connected to the second steering knuckle through the central and transverse steering rods. Tie rod ends with ball joints are screwed onto the tie rods and provide toe adjustment.
The power steering is installed on all cars. The power steering pump is driven from the crankshaft pulley by an auxiliary drive belt.
