1. Tighten all threaded connections to the specified torque.
2. After installing the radiator and connecting the hoses, check whether the drain plug of the cylinder block is screwed on.
3. On vehicles with a manual gearbox, pay attention to the correct centering of the clutch disc;
4. Apply a light coat of lubricant to the splined end of the gearbox input shaft before connecting the gearbox to the engine.
Note. On vehicles with dual counterweight flywheels, the inner splines of the clutch disc hub are nickel plated and the splined end of the gearbox input shaft does not need to be lubricated. See Clutch.
5. Fill with engine oil, fill and bleed the cooling system.
6. Fill the gearbox with oil.
7. Depending on the modification, adjust the throttle actuator and starter rods.
8. On vehicles with automatic gearbox, adjust the control pressure regulator drive rod.
