1. Drain the liquid from the cooling system.
2. On engines with a magnetic fan drive clutch, remove the radiator.
3. Loosen the adjusting and adjusting bolts of the alternator, slide it towards the engine and release the drive belt on the pulleys. If the alternator belt must be removed completely on models with power steering, air conditioning (compressor), you must first remove the belts of the respective units.
4. On models with a magnetic fan clutch, block the pump and remove the center bolt, then remove the fan and remove the pulley bolts from the water pump. Block the pulley with a screwdriver inserted between the center shaft and the head of one of the bolts.
5. On models with a viscous fan drive clutch, remove the bolts and remove the fan and pulley from the water pump.
6. Turn away bolts and take the water pump from a casing on a forward surface of the block of cylinders.
7. Clean mating surfaces of water pump and casing.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Fit a new gasket and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Pour fluid into the cooling system and tension the drive belt.
