Removal the outer CV joint from the drive shaft (Mercedes-Benz Vito W639)

Removal

1. Clamp the shaft in a vice using a protective pad.

2. Remove the CV joint (1) using a hammer and a 32 mm open-end wrench.

Installation

4. Press the CV joint onto the splined portion of the drive shaft until the retaining ring (2) clicks noticeably.

Use only a new snap ring.
