Removal
1. Disconnect the clamps (1) and (2) using special pliers (3) (drawing VN 4.049).
2. Remove the inner (6) and outer (7) CV joint boots (drawing VN 4.050).

Installation
3. Fill the new CV joint boots (6) and (7) with special consistent grease, and also fill the internal cavities of the CV joint with the same grease (drawing VN 4.050).

4. Install new boots onto the drive shaft.
5. Secure the anthers with clamps using clamp crimping pliers.
Pay attention to the installation of the clamping points. The compression points of both clamps for the outer joint must be rotated 180° relative to the clamps of the inner joint. This is necessary to ensure that the balance of the drive shaft is not disturbed.
