Removal
1. To remove the CV joint, loosen the retaining ring (4) (the projections of the retaining ring are shown by arrows) and at the same time remove the CV joint, with support against the spherical knuckle (1).
Caution: Do not allow the CV joint to fall. If necessary, use the services of an assistant.

Installation
2. Install a new retaining ring (4) into the spherical knuckle (1)

3. Install the CV joint (5) on the drive shaft (2) until the retaining ring is locked in the groove.
