Directions for Applying Sealant to the Front Cylinder Block Cover
Line for applying sealant to the timing case cover. Pressure oil channels to the engine block must not be sealed, since otherwise the sealant in these places will be captured by the oil flow and clog the oil supply holes.
Caution: The surface to be sealed must be completely clean. The sealant may only be applied along the designated lines in the form of a roller 2.0 mm (±0.5) mm thick.
The sealant roller must not be smeared.
The timing case cover must be installed within 10 minutes after applying the sealant bead.
