The valve of regulation of giving of fuel in TNVD
Fuel control valve (Y94) together with the pressure control valve in the TKVD (Y74) regulates the fuel pressure in the TKVD (M41) and cuts off the fuel supply to the injection pump plungers when the engine is stopped.
The valve for regulating the fuel supply to the injection pump is fixed on the flange of the injection pump.

Valve operation
The fuel supplied by the fuel booster pump enters the injection pump flange, passes through its channels through the fuel temperature sensor (1) to fuel control valve (2) and to the fuel pressure relief valve (23).
Fuel control valve (2) changes the fuel flow in accordance with the signals given by the CDHN3/9 control unit).
