Tightening torque of the pressure sensor in the threaded hole of the HPTC: 20-22 Nm
Purpose
Measuring the current pressure value in the high pressure fuel pump and transmitting a signal to the engine control unit.
Design
The fuel pressure sensor in the high-pressure fuel pump contains a diaphragm made of high-strength spring steel and connected to a semiconductor (polycrystalline silicon) strain gauge sensor.

Functioning
The fuel pressure sensor in the HPFK measures the current pressure value in the HPFK and transmits a signal in the form of a voltage proportional to the pressure to the engine control unit N3/9.
Based on the sensor signal, the engine control unit generates a control signal transmitted to the pressure regulation valve in the high-pressure fuel pump.
