Fuel injector of the 1st cylinder; 10. Fuel injector of the 1st cylinder; 11. Valve for regulating the amount of fuel supplied
Tightening torque of the pressure sensor in the threaded hole of the TKVD: 20-22 Nm
Purpose
Measurement of the current pressure value in the TKVD and signal transmission to the engine control unit.
Design
The fuel pressure sensor in the TKVD contains a diaphragm made of high-strength spring steel and connected to a semiconductor (polycrystalline silicon) strain gauge.
Functioning
The fuel pressure sensor in the TKVD measures the current value of the pressure in the TKVD and transmits a signal in the form of a voltage proportional to the pressure to the N3 / 9 engine control unit.
Based on the sensor signal, the engine control unit generates a control signal transmitted to the pressure control valve in the HPC.
