Purpose
Detection of air pressure in the intake manifold and transmission of a signal to the engine control unit (N3/9).
Design
The boost pressure sensor contains piezoelectric volume resistors, which are located on the measuring diaphragm and connected according to the measuring bridge circuit.

Functioning
A change in pressure in the intake manifold causes a change in the shape of the measuring diaphragm, which causes a change in the resistance of the elements of the measuring bridge. The output signal is a voltage proportional to changes in intake manifold pressure.
