Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Installation Details (M612)
21 — Highway
B4/6 — Fuel pressure sensor


1. Remove the cylinder head cover trim panels.

2. Disconnect the electrical wiring and remove the pressure sensor (B4/6), use the second key to hold the fitting on the line (21).

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Finally, clear the memory of the on-board diagnostic module (see Chapter Engine electrical systems).

B4/6 — Fuel pressure sensor


1. Remove the air cleaner (see Section Servicing air intake tract components).



2. Release the vacuum line (1) from the support bracket (2) and move it aside.

3. Disconnect the electrical wiring and remove the pressure sensor (B4/6).

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Finally, clear the memory of the on-board diagnostic module (see Chapter Engine electrical systems).
