1 - Air intake; 2, 3 - Cooling tract lines; 4 - Overflow hose; 5 - Auxiliary fan; 6 - Low temperature cooler; 7 - Upper front cross member


1. Jack up the car and place it on supports.

2. Remove the crankcase guard.

3. Drain the cooling system (see Chapter Routine care and maintenance).

4. Remove the radiator grille (see Chapter Body).

5. Remove the air intake (1).

6. Remove the upper front cross member (7) complete with the hood lock latch and its release cable (see Chapter Body).

7. Disconnect the cooling lines (2 and 3) and the overflow hose (4).

8. Remove the auxiliary fan assembly (see Chapter Cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems).

9. Remove the low temperature cooler assembly (6) by pushing it forward and then upward.

10. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

11. Finally, clear the memory of the on-board diagnostic system processor (see Chapter Engine electrical systems).

1. Jack up the car and place it on supports.

2. Remove the crankcase guard.

3. Remove the fan assembly shroud.

4. Drain the cooling system (see Chapter Routine care and maintenance).

5. Disconnect the cooling system hoses (4 and 5) and release the line nipple connector (3).

6. Loosen the nuts (7) and remove the low-temperature cooler assembly (2).

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

8. Finally, check the cooling system components for signs of developing leaks.
