Light bulb on air conditioner temperature switch (Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168)

Removal

1. Remove rotary switch 1 from the shaft by pulling it with sufficient force into the interior of the vehicle (see illustration).



2. Put a 5mm diameter insulating tube on the defective bulb 2, remove the bulb and install a new one (see illustration 13.1).

Installation

3. Install the removed rotary switch onto the shaft.
