Removal
1. Remove the dust filter, see the relevant chapter.
2. Remove the heater/air conditioner unit trim frame by pressing in on the four retaining tabs.
3. Unscrew the eight screws that secure the cover over the electric motor and remove it.

4. Unscrew the electric motor mounting bolt.
5. Disconnect the motor power plug and remove the motor. When removing the motor, lower the hood. Do not place the fan motor on the diffuser.
Installation
6. Install the electric motor in place and secure it with the bolt.
7. Connect the power plug and secure it.
8. Replace the motor cover and secure it with eight screws.
9. Place the frame and secure it.
10. Replace the dust filter, see the relevant chapter.
