Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.
Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the cover under the glove box, refer to the relevant section.
3. Disconnect the connector (1) and remove the wire from the holder (2).
4. Remove the 5 mounting screws (arrows in the illustration) and remove the cover with the fan electric motor and impeller downwards from the housing.
Note: Do not place the fan motor on the impeller.
5. Remove the plug (3) and unscrew the lock bolt under the plug.
6. Remove the electric motor with the impeller from the housing.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect the battery ground (-) cable with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the clock.
