Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.
Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the electric motor, refer to the relevant section.
3. Remove the mounting screws (arrows in the illustration) and remove the electronic control stage (1) of the electric motor.
4. Disconnect the fan motor connector.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect the battery ground (-) cable with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the clock.
