Air conditioner damper motors
1 - E / m of the damper drive of the left air duct for blowing glass; 2 - E / m of the drive of the left overlapping damper; 3 - E / m of the damper drive of the right air duct for blowing glass; 4 - E / m of the carbon filter damper regulator; 5 - E / m fan; 6 - E / m of the damper drive of the circulation mode switch; 7 - E / m of the drive of the right overlapping damper; 8 - E / m of the drive of the damper of the air duct of the right footwell; 9 - E / m of the drive of the left damper for supplying fresh air; 10 - E / m of the drive of the right damper for supplying fresh air; 11 - E / m of the drive of the damper of the air duct of the left footwell
Air conditioner model without automatic comfort
The ventilation flaps are moved by electric motors. The electric motors are attached to the heater/air conditioner unit. Various covers must be removed to access the electric motors.
Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Attention! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Fresh air/circulation damper: Remove the cover under the storage box, refer to the relevant section.
3. Air mixing damper right: Remove the cover under the glove box, refer to the relevant section.
4. Air mixing damper left: Remove the cover under the instrument panel on the driver's side, refer to the relevant section.
Leg area damper
1. Remove the cover under the instrument panel on the driver's side, refer to the relevant section.
2. Remove the lower part of the instrument panel from the driver's side, refer to the relevant section.
3. Remove the radio and the pocket under the radio, refer to Section Removal and installation of the radio receiver.
4. Remove damping material.
Ventilation flaps
1. Remove the heater and air conditioner unit, refer to the relevant section.
2. Remove the radio and the pocket under the radio, refer to Section Removal and installation of the radio receiver.
3. Remove the damping material.
4. Remove 3 screws (arrows in the illustration) and remove the motor (1).
5. Disconnect the connector (2) electric motor.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect ground cable (-) battery with the ignition off. Install the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
Note. After installation, it is necessary to adjust the electric motors for driving the ventilation dampers on the control unit. The service station has a special diagnostic tool for this purpose.
