Ventilation nozzle in the instrument panel



Removal



1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.

Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.


2. Using a plastic wedge or flat knife, remove the cover over the vent and take out the clips…

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

2. Connect the battery ground (-) cable with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the clock.

Ventilation deflector in the center console



Removal



1. Press the lower locking hooks (1) of both ventilation deflectors to the right with a screwdriver…


1. Press the lower locking hooks (1) of both ventilation deflectors to the right with a screwdriver (2). At the same time, tilt the deflectors all the way up and release.

2. Remove the screws at the back of the deflector plates (1).

3. Use a screwdriver to disconnect the upper locking hooks on both deflectors and tilt the deflectors all the way down.

4. Insert the screwdriver (2) through the gap and into the groove of the locking tongue (1).

6. Remove the second deflectors in the same manner and remove both deflectors from the ventilation duct.

Installation



1. Insert the air deflectors into the channel so that the guide pin fits into the receptacle in the center of the deflector.

2. Fix the deflectors.

3. Release the deflectors and tilt upwards. Insert the screws through the groove and screw in.

Left side air vent



Removal



1. Remove the fuse box cover on the side of the instrument panel, refer to Section Relays and fuses.

2. Remove the switch group on the left side of the control panel, refer to Section Removal and installation a group of switches to the left of the control panel.

3. Remove the 2 screws (1) securing the ventilation deflector.

4. Remove the screws and push out the lower part of the instrument panel (2) as described in Section Removal and installation the lower part of the instrument panel.

5. Press the screwdriver to the left on the locking hooks and tilt the deflector all the way down.…


5. Press the screwdriver to the left on the locking hooks and tilt the deflector all the way down. Insert the screwdriver (2) through the groove, press the locking tabs (1) down and remove the deflector from the ventilation duct.

Installation



1. Insert the deflector into the ventilation duct, fix it and secure it with screws.

2. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Right side air vent



Removal



1. Remove the screws and lower the glove box as described in Section Removal and installation the glove box.

Note: Further disassembly corresponds to the same operation for the left side ventilation deflector.


2. Remove the deflector mounting screws.

3. Press the screwdriver to the right on the locking hooks and tilt the deflector all the way down. Insert the screwdriver (2) through the groove, press the locking tabs (1) down and remove the deflector from the ventilation duct.

Installation



1. Insert the deflector into the channel, fix it and secure it with screws.

2. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
