If too much current flows, the electrical circuit of the protected components is interrupted electronically. After a short time, the electrical circuit is automatically closed again. If the fault occurs again, the electrical circuit is interrupted again.
Use fuses with the correct amperage rating.
Blown fuses must not be repaired or bridged.
Determine the cause of the burnout.
The relays are located in two fuse boxes in the trunk, as well as in the engine compartment.
1. Remove the cover of the fuse box and remove the damaged relay using special pliers, eg HAZET 4770-1.
2. Check the operation of the relay and, if necessary, replace it with a new one, refer to the relevant section.
3. Install the relay on the board and close the fuse box cover.
Fuses are located in three blocks, which are located on the side of the instrument panel, in the trunk and in the engine compartment.
Fuse box 1
Fuse box 1 is located on the driver's side, on the side of the instrument panel.
1. Depending on the version, cover (1) removed from the instrument panel with a screwdriver or a ledge.
2. Tilt the cover to the left and remove it from the top holder.
Note. The cap sits very firmly in the upper holder, so a plastic wedge, such as HAZET 1965-20, may be required to remove it.
3. Tilt the cover further to the left, remove the guide rails at the top and bottom from the holes, and remove the cover from the instrument panel.
4. When installing, insert the guide rails into the holes, close the cover and fix it in the holders.
Fuse box 2
Fuse box 2 is located in the boot behind the side trim.
1. Sedan: Take out the cover (1) from lining. Remove the cover (2) fuse block.
2. Station wagon: Loose cover (1) in the cladding and lower it. (2) - fuse block.
Fuse box 3
Fuse box 3 is located on the left side in the engine compartment under the cover.
1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the cover above the fuse box. To do this, turn the plastic screws ¼ turn and remove the cover from the guide rail.
3. Release the clamps (1), pull the cover (2) fuse box forward and remove.
4. When installing, press the cover into the rear tire and place it on the fuse box. When doing this, make sure that the cover is in the correct position.
5. Lock the cover with clips.
6. Place the cover over the fuse box. In this case, the cover must fit into the side guide rail.
7. Fasten the cover with screws by turning the plastic screws ¼ turn.
