1. Move the release button (1) in the direction of the arrow and remove the emergency key (2) from the ignition switch.

2. Press the emergency key (1) into the slot, while removing the battery section (2) in the…


2. Press the emergency key (1) into the slot, while removing the battery section (2) in the direction of the arrow from the ignition key.

3. Pull the 2 batteries under the contact spring and remove them from the holder.

Installation



1. Insert new batteries into the holder so that the positive poles of both batteries point upward when inserted. The batteries and the section are marked (+).

Caution: Do not touch the contact surfaces of the batteries with your fingers.


2. Insert the section into the ignition key and lock it.

3. Insert the emergency key into the ignition key and lock it.
