Removal



1. Open the hood.

2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.

Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.


3. Unscrew the screw at the fitting for filling the windshield washer reservoir.

4. Raise and support the front of the vehicle on stands.

Attention! The operation of lifting and installing the car on stands is associated with danger! Therefore, before carrying out the operation, read the Section Jacking and towing Introduction to the manual.


5. Remove the front mudguard, front and top, refer to Section Removal and installation the front wing liner.

6. Remove the water hoses and plug (1) from the pump motors (2).

Note: The electric motors are mounted at the rear of the windshield washer reservoir (3).


7. Remove the water level control switch connector (6).

8. Disconnect and remove the pump motor from the holder on the windshield washer reservoir.

9. Unscrew the fastening screw and remove the water filling pipe (4) from the tank (3). (5) -…

10. Remove the 3 mounting screws (arrows in the illustration) and remove the tank from the engine compartment.

Installation



1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that the filling pipe is correctly positioned in the sealing ring (5).

2. Connect the battery ground (-) cable with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the clock.
