Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
Note. To save the dashboard data recorded in the electronic memory, connect the special auxiliary power source to the vehicle before disconnecting the battery, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Release the steering wheel, pull it all the way back and push down. Electric steering wheel adjustment: Install the same position.
3. Type in splines (arrow illustration) all the way left and right on the dashboard (2) pull hooks (1).
4. Rotate the hooks 90°, push up the lock (3) and free.
Note. The direction of rotation on the right slot is clockwise, on the left slot it is counterclockwise.
5. Pull out the dashboard with the hooks from the instrument panel.
6. Release the plug on the back of the dashboard and unplug the connector. Take out the dashboard.
7. Service stations use special pull-out hooks 140 589 02 33 00 for this purpose. Hooks can also be made independently from wire with a diameter of 2–2.5 mm.

8. Release the dashboard cover and remove from the housing.
9. Remove the electronic board from the housing.
Installation
1. Insert the electronic board into the dashboard housing. At the same time, make sure that the reset button for the daily mileage counter has the correct position.
2. Put the cover on the body and fix it on the tabs.
3. Dock the dashboard connector and fix it.
4. Insert the dashboard into the instrument panel, press evenly and fix. At the same time, do not warp the dashboard.
5. Set the steering wheel to the normal position.
6. Connect ground cable (-) battery with the ignition off. Install the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
