Upper group of switches
Under the center air vent are the hazard warning switch, as well as switches for various functions, such as seat heating, single lock, rear window wiper and stability control. A group of switches in case of failure of any element is replaced as a set.
Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Attention! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the cover of the upper part of the center console, refer to the relevant section.
3. Disconnect the switch group connector.
4. Remove 6 fixing screws (arrows in the illustration) and disconnect the group of switches from the back of the cover (1). (2) - lid holder.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect ground cable (-) battery with the ignition off. Install the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
AT selector console
Depending on the equipment, there are switches in the console for seat heating as well as for the W/S drive programs.
Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Attention! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the shift selector handle as described in Section Removal and installation of the center console.
3. Disconnect the connector (1) on the reverse side of the casing frame from the switch strip (refer to accompanying illustration).
4. Open the planks (3) and remove the switch strip from the holder.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect ground cable (-) battery with the ignition off. Install the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
