The front ceiling light contains switches for the interior light, reading light and sliding roof panel.
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.
Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Using a plastic wedge, such as HAZET 1965-20, remove the ceiling light by the retaining springs (arrows in the illustration) from the ceiling lining.
3. Lower the ceiling light down and pull it forward out of the holder.
4. Disconnect the ceiling light connector and remove the light.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect the battery ground (-) cable with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the clock.
