Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.
Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the gear shift/selector cover as described in Section Removal and installation the center console.
3. Slide back the cover over the pocket in the center console.
4. Remove the can holder and pocket from the center console as described in Section Removal and installation the center console.
5. Remove the locking strips (1) using a screwdriver.
6. Disconnect the cigarette lighter support (2) from the holder and move it back.
7. Disconnect the cigarette lighter connector (3) and push out the cigarette lighter.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
2. Connect the battery ground (-) cable with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio reception code
