Removal



1. Disconnect the ground (-) wire terminal from the negative battery terminal, after turning off the ignition.

Attention! When disconnecting the battery from the radio, the protective code is deleted, as well as all automatic settings on the radio station. If the code is unknown or not written down, then the radio can only be put into operation by resorting to the help of a workshop or the manufacturer of the radio. Therefore, make sure in advance that the code is known.


2. Remove the gear shift lever or gear selector lever protective cover, see the relevant chapter.

3. Remove the cover from the rear of the center console 1 (see illustration).

4. Disconnect plug 2 from the rear end of the cigarette lighter (see illustration 31.3).

5. Use a screwdriver to pry the ashtray 3 out of the lid (see illustration 31.3).

6. Remove the cigarette lighter light bulb.

Installation



7. Install the cigarette lighter light bulb in place, inserting its protrusion into the groove (see arrow in illustration).

8. Attach the ashtray to the console lid and connect the plug.



9. Install the cover onto the center console and secure it in place.

10. Place the gearshift lever cover on the gearshift lever and secure it to the center console.

11. Connect the negative (-) cable terminal to the battery terminal, making sure the ignition is off.

12. Set up the electronic clock.

13. Enter the security code into the radio receiver.
