Removal



10. Disconnect the ground (-) wire terminal from the negative battery terminal, after turning off the ignition.

Warning! When you disconnect the battery from the radio, the security code is deleted, as well as all automatic settings on the radio station. If the code is unknown or not written down, then the radio can only be put into operation by resorting to the help of a workshop or the manufacturer of the radio. Therefore, make sure in advance that the code is known.


11. Remove the upper center console trim, see the relevant chapter.

12. Disconnect the three plugs of the 1 switch block (see illustration).

13. Press down the three stops with a screwdriver (see arrows in illustration 32.12) and remove the switch block.



Installation



14. Connect the three plugs 1 of the switch block and secure them to the center console trim (see illustration 32.12).

15. Reinstall the front center console cover, see the relevant chapter.

16. Connect the negative (-) cable terminal to the battery terminal, making sure the ignition is off.

17. Set up the electronic clock.

18. Enter the security code into the radio receiver.
