Removing
1. Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative pole of the battery «masses» (-), by turning off the ignition first.
Attention! When the battery is disconnected from the radio, the security code is deleted, as well as all automatic settings on the radio. If the code is unknown or not written down, the only way to put the radio into operation is with the assistance of a workshop or the manufacturer of the radio. Therefore, first make sure that the code is known.
2. Cars manufactured before 2/01. Remove the trim on the top of the center console, see relevant chapter.
3. Vehicles manufactured from 3/01. Remove the dashboard see relevant chapter.
4. Press the hazard warning light switch out of the panel, releasing it from the back of the mounts and disconnecting the plug (see arrow in illustration).
Installation
5. Attach the hazard warning light switch to the console.
6. Connect the switch plug.
7. Cars manufactured before 2/01. Install the trim on the top of the center console, see relevant chapter.
8. Vehicles manufactured since 3/01. Install the dashboard see relevant chapter.
9. Connect ground wire terminal (-) to the battery post, making sure the ignition is off.
10. Set up the digital clock.
11. Enter the security code into the radio.
