Removal
1. Disconnect the ground (-) wire terminal from the negative battery terminal, after turning off the ignition.
Warning! When you disconnect the battery from the radio, the security code is deleted, as well as all automatic settings on the radio station. If the code is unknown or not written down, then the radio can only be put into operation by resorting to the help of a workshop or the manufacturer of the radio. Therefore, make sure in advance that the code is known.
2. Cars manufactured before 2/01. Remove the trim from the upper part of the center console, see the relevant chapter.
3. Cars produced since 01/03. Remove the instrument panel, see the relevant chapter.
4. Press the hazard warning light switch out of the panel by releasing it from the rear side from the fasteners and disconnecting the plug (see arrow in illustration).

Installation
5. Secure the hazard warning light switch to the console.

6. Connect the switch plug.
7. Cars produced before 2/01. Install the upper part of the center console trim, see the relevant chapter.
8. Cars produced since 01/03. Install the instrument panel, see the relevant chapter.
9. Connect the negative (-) cable terminal to the battery terminal, making sure the ignition is off.
10. Set up the electronic clock.
11. Enter the security code into the radio receiver.
