Removal



1. Remove the deflector trim on the driver and passenger sides, see the relevant chapter.

2. Remove the radio receiver, see the relevant chapter.

3. Unscrew the bolt in the radio mounting compartment.

4. Release the locking tabs 2 of the pocket cover 1 on the center console by pressing them down (see illustration).

5. Unscrew the bolts at points 3 and lift the cover on the centre console 4 so that the multi-pin plug of the hazard warning light switch 5 can be disconnected (see illustration).

6 Disconnect the hazard warning light switch multi-pin plug.

7. Remove the switch block from the center console, see the relevant chapter.



8. Unscrew the two Allen key head bolts on the back of the heater switch block and remove the block, see the relevant chapter.

9. Remove the cover from the center console.

The installation of the center console cover is performed in the reverse order of removal. The switch blocks must be secured when installed on the console.
