Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.
Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the center air deflector.
3. Remove the shift/selector lever cover as described in Section Removal and installation the center console.
4. Remove the ashtray housing from the center console as described in Section Removal and installation the center console.

5. Open the spring clips (arrows in the illustration) at the bottom of the cover (1). (2) – heater control unit on the back of the cover.
6. Remove the cover from the top of the center console.
7. Disconnect the heater connector and the control switch from the back of the cover.
Installation
1. Connect the heater connector and control switch to the back of the cover.

2. Install the cover on the top of the center console, insert the spring clips at the bottom of the bottom (arrows in the illustration) consoles (1) and fix them.
3. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
4. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the clock.
