Removal



1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.

Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.


2. Lower the headrest and steering wheel.

3. Move the seat fully forward.

4. Remove the cover over the belt tip. Unscrew the bolt at the tip.


4. Remove the cover over the belt tip. Unscrew the bolt at the tip.

5. Remove the 2 bolts at the rear of the seat guides.


5. Remove the 2 bolts at the rear of the seat guides.

6. Move the seat all the way back. If there is a fire extinguisher, remove it from the holder and remove the 2 bolts at the front of the seat guides.

7. Disconnect connectors (1) and (2) under the seat.

8. Remove the seat.

Installation



1. Install the seat in place. The locking pin on the seat guides must enter the hole.

2. Connect the connectors under the seat.

3. Tighten the seat guides at the front and rear to a torque of 50 Nm.

4. Tighten the belt end bolt to a torque of 30 Nm.

5. Replace the covers.

6. Place the fire extinguisher in the holder.

7. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the clock.
